Mode of action :
Arachidic acid act as antimicrobial factor against the Propionibacterium acnes which causes inflammation and the spread of pustules on the skin when it is proliferated.
Margaric acid reduces the skin superficial fatty secretions n which feeds the microbe, thus leading to its inhibition and attenuating the disease.
Margaric acid hinders the triglyceride hydrolysis in the people suffering from acnes so they that hey have direct antibody for the microbes. Thus the preparation lead to overcoming acnes especially if it was early applied at the beginning of acne appearance.
