Microscopically examination

  • Pollen grain spherical with spherical spiny exinle, has 3 germinal furrows.
  • Fragments of petals with papillosed cells.
  • Fragment of fibrous layer of another which is thick and lignified.
  • Fragment of crystal layers : parenchyma cells contain Ca OX. crystals prisms.
  • Vessels: spiral reticulate, pitted thick, lignified.
  • Elongated cells
  • Fibers group: elongated, fuseforme, thick lignified.

Preiparation of fatty acids

  • N. Hexane ext. was reflexes 2N KOH ( alcoholic solution ) for 4 hours. Extract with ether (3 x 300 ml)
  • Add to the aqueous extract, Hcl > till the PH is acedic. Extract with either (3 x 300 ml)
  • Methylation by using Diazomethane.
  • GLC investip ation of fatty acids.
