Microscopically examination
- Pollen grain spherical with spherical spiny exinle, has 3 germinal furrows.
- Fragments of petals with papillosed cells.
- Fragment of fibrous layer of another which is thick and lignified.
- Fragment of crystal layers : parenchyma cells contain Ca OX. crystals prisms.
- Vessels: spiral reticulate, pitted thick, lignified.
- Elongated cells
- Fibers group: elongated, fuseforme, thick lignified.
Preiparation of fatty acids
- N. Hexane ext. was reflexes 2N KOH ( alcoholic solution ) for 4 hours. Extract with ether (3 x 300 ml)
- Add to the aqueous extract, Hcl > till the PH is acedic. Extract with either (3 x 300 ml)
- Methylation by using Diazomethane.
- GLC investip ation of fatty acids.
