Mode of Action:
Capric acid, one of the constituents of the preparation, is significantly attractive to mast cells which is a type of basophills present in the inflammatory connective tissues and secrete heparin, histamine and serotonin and participate in allergic reactions of the types wound macrophage and polymorphnuclear which are a type of white blood corpuscles characterized by lobed nucleus and grainy cytoplasm.
They are similar to the devouring cells in their mode of action.
All the three types of cells secrete growth activating proteins and helps repairing the spoiled tissues. Capric acid activates the metaloproteinases which discard the spoiled proteins and removes scars.
